On Wednesday, May 5 Walker Street will be closed between East Main Street and Homes Street between 8:45 and 4:00.

City crews will patch and repair cracked pavement at the intersection of Walker Street and Iowa Street. 

Area residents have been notified and both Walker Elementary School and Ashland Middle School have been notified.  Busses for both schools will still have access for drop-off and pick-up.  Parents picking up or dropping off children at either school will have access to the schools but not through access on Walker Street.
