2024 Community Development Block Grant Program Annual Action Plan Available for Review
The City of Ashland is an Entitlement Jurisdiction for the Community Development Block Grant Program. The City of Ashland anticipates an annual allocation of $179,575in Community Development Block Grant funds for Program Year 2024(July 1, 2024-June 30, 2025) by the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).
The Council has determined that a total of $143,660 in grant funds in the 2024 grant year to two projects: $125,660 to Sunstone Housing Collective for the acquisition of land on which to develop affordable housing, and $18,000 to Maslow Project for outreach and case management for homeless youth enrolled in the Ashland School District. The public is encouraged to submit comments regarding these proposed projects.
This document, the CDBG Action Plan for Program Year 2024, describes the project(s) that the City will undertake and the manner in which the project(s) are consistent with the priorities of the Five-Year Consolidated Plan.
Public Comment on the 2024 CDBG Action Plan can be submitted any time prior to May 19, 2024, or be presented to the Ashland Housing and Human Services Commission at a public hearing on the plan on April 25th at 4:00 pm.
