The Ivy Morton Waterline project is an approved component of the City of Ashland Water Master Plan. It is intended to link two water pressure zones to allow the decommissioning of an aging pump station (South Mountain Booster Pump Station) and simplify the water system in the city.

In combination with future planned pipeline expansions, it will also enable increased fire flows to the area currently served by the South Mountain Booster Pump Station. The project involves the installation of approximately 2,000 feet of 12” ductile iron pipe along an existing pipeline route through City-owned land and right of ways.
