PERMITS

Ashland Fire & Rescue issues permits for activities and events that have the potential to create a fire or safety hazard to people, buildings or the environment inside the city limits of Ashland. The purpose of the permit is to educate the permitee on code requirements and safe practices. Requirements for permits are based on the Oregon Fire Code and recognized standards. Permits are not valid until signed and issued by an Ashland Fire & Rescue representative.

Fire Season Waiver to operate equipment outside of the allowed hours Apply
Fumigation & Insecticidal Fogging
Fumigation of any building or space

Haunted House Permit Any space being used as a Haunted House. Apply
Hazardous Materials Storage, use or processing of hazardous materials. Apply
Open Flame Permit Events using open flames indoors or outdoors. This includes the use of open flames for candlelight vigils. Apply
Open Flame / Pyrotechnic Permit Pyrotechnics or use of flames before an audience. This permit includes fire dancing. Apply
Outdoor Fair Farmer's markets, craft fairs, events with tents or canopies, food, beer gardens and similar activities. Apply
